Acupuncture is widely considered to be beneficial for a range of symptoms and illnesses, from clearly defined complaints such as headaches, vomiting, neck ache, and back, arthritic and dental pain, through to more general feelings of ill health such as nausea or low energy.
 

Conditions commonly treated fall into the following categories of disorder: eye, ear, nose and throat; circulatory, gastrointestinal; gynaecological; genito-urinary; immune; musculo-skeletal; neurological; respiratory; emotional and psychological.

 

Experience
 

Linda has nearly thirty years experience of Acupuncture using traditional techniques of Chinese medicine combined, with a background knowledge of psychiatric, midwifery gynaecological and general nursing gained working in the National Health Service.

 

Psychology
 

Linda has mental nursing experience from working in psychiatric units in the early 1970’s, and holds additional certificates in Counseling and lifespan development.
 

Nervous client's with needle phobia often comment that they feel very relaxed during treatment aided by a pleasant informal environment.

 

Fertility Problems
 

Linda has many years experience of treating fertility problems with acupuncture, treating client's both pre-conceptually and throughout pregnancy.

 

Many couples choose to support their IVF treatment with Acupuncture which can vary according to the stages of clinical treatment.

 

Pregnancy
 

Pregnancy can be a time when the body undergoes many changes to hormones that may produce symptoms previously unknown. Many women would rather avoid taking drugs particularly during the first trimester.

 

Linda has a background including several years nursing in midwifery and gynaecology, and treats symptoms of pregnancy throughout the entire pregnancy with Acupuncture.
